The next generation

How many out there are 2nd generation campers? How many think there kids will be parked alongside them in a campground someday? Do your siblings camp? These are some things I think about as my kids get older. I'd like to think they are enjoying themselves enough to want to continue camping as adults with their own families, but it's hard to predict the future. I realize there are many factors that may prevent this from being a reality.

I am a second generation camper - but the first no longer camps - But I do camp in their yard (lake front property)..

I think I have a third generation camper in the making - my DD is 24 and still camps with me. My son now - don't think so as his wife is not the camping sort.

Nope. My son prefers a non outdoors type lifestyle.

On another note, my nephew enjoyed camping so much that he and his friends would camp in the volcano fields in Hawaii! I thought that was a tough kid in the making but then he joined the Marines and volunteered for Afghanistan because he wanted to!
