X2

You usually won't be able to make them enjoy the experience, but they'll sure ruin yours.

Same thing applies to boating.

my i put a new intake on my 250 and it now sounds like a freaking fighter jet under load.....LOUD...but only when turbo is pushing 20+lbs of boost...

as far as DONT bring...

1. FIL or MIL unless they have their own camper at least 2 spots away
2. the girlfriend AND the wife...or vice versa
3. ANYONE who hates outdoors
4. ANYONE who has poor hygiene
5. any animal that constantly makes its associated noise so that others can hear it more than one site over (and i say this because i was once at a camp that had a llama!)
6. anyone who consistently complains and/or tells you the things you SHOULD get.....even if they have their own camper...(SEE #1 !!)

oh and let me add with emphasis and another reference to (#1) a detailed and/or specific itenary of things and foods that will be done and/or eaten on certian days at certain times....im camping....im on vacation...i just may have a hotdog for breakfast, and sit out on my patio in my zero g chair and stare at the leaves blowing....if you get anxiety and/or feel the need to "do" certain things, by all means do them.....i dont care.....if it sounds interesting i just may do them too....if not, then i wont......get over it....

i mean the world wont end if we dont have steak on sat night instead of friday.....or no steak at all....

Well said Ironj, the need to 'organize' and 'plan' or to have specific 'outings' etc are not my cup of tea at ALL. Pass. What happens, happens. What doesn't, well doesn't.

I think we can all agree this is an appropriate spot for "That's what she said."

Son's girlfriend....who must take 3 showers a day, hog up the only bathroom for at least an hour "primping" to get ready to go off anywhere, and of course wash her hair every time she is in the shower too! AND, of course the grey water holding tank fills to capacity every day, and after she gets out, no more hot water!! (Don't even think about inviting her when boondocking! Randy
