Lou, First off FANTASTIC news about Laura - and I am sure you are a pro at dialysis by now. Still keeping ya'll in our thoughts and prayers though!

B47...Herk..(and I am sure other Phrogs and folk out there) seem to like the spicy stuff....well so do I (Lou, scrambeled eggs are just so bland without Cholula chilie sauce on em - ever heard of that brand?)

So, we are having a beer night @ Goshen...maybe we need something to make beer imbibing necessary....

How about a Hot Sauce / Salsa competition? Stuff could be either your favorite brand or for others perhaps their own secret recipe?

Remember though the idea here is to make tasty stuff ...not to bring some sort of Nuclear toxic waste that melts the bottom of the glass bottle before you can serve it

Well, I passed my checkride today and am cleared in hot.

But wouldn't you know that because of the clinic tomorrow the PD nurses won't be able to come to the house and validate our setup. They are coming Friday to make sure I can do what I did at the clinic at the house.

I will also get them to do a walk-through of the camper and make some suggestions. Still hoping we will have all the bugs worked out by the July scheduled trips.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind words, prayers, and thoughts.
Herk (Lou)

PS - Laura sends her love.

So, Both Laura and I have now passed our qualification course and are just a few credits short of being fully qualified Peritoneal Dialysis Technicians.

Not really; just seems that way.

Have the machine home and it fits in the camper space where I had hoped it would fit and her CPAP will sit above it on a rack I had built previously for additional clothing.

To give her (and I) more room I will need to move the bed to the left about a foot. That means the vertical closet, drawer, and surface (? - too small to call a shelf) will have to go. Looks to be an afternoon job. I will try not to bugger anything up so that it can be returned to OEM without too much heart ache. (WANT to get that Wildcat!)

Hiccup this afternoon. I called to verify delivery times for her supplies tomorrow and got, "Well, there is no Baxter truck scheduled out your way for Friday so rather than send it out just for you, we will deliver it Monday or Tuesday."

Not happening. Called the Davita nurses and they ripped the delivery service a new one. We are an initial issue and their contract says delivery of initial issue will not be delayed. The nurses need to come tomorrow anyway and they are bringing enough for 5 days. Not happy ATM with Baxter delivery.

Herk

Her CPAP is pretty small (an older Sulivan VPAP II, but I added a humidifier unit that bulked it up some. There are two types (powered and un-powered and I bought both. The powered on is used 99% of the time as it works the best. I use the un-powered one when we boondock.

Good to hear everything is going good. Hoping and praying for you both! If you need anything for Goshen, or parts in between, just give us a shout out. I'm sure there is a member that lives near wherever you're traveling, that would most certainly lend a hand. Do you still have my cell #?

Haven't been on here for awhile, it's wonderful to see the FROG family sending along their prayers for Laura. I would like to send our prayers along as well. Take care.
