Tires cupping on Continental Cargo Trailer

On Continental Cargo 16K Gooseneck, with Al-ko 800E 8 K axles.

Tires are cupping badly on all 4 tires, some worse than others.

Not sure where problem lies

Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Thanks

Not having been balanced is the main cause. Balancing now will not eliminate the damage already done either.

Bad/lack of shocks will also cause tire cupping. Do you regularly rotate your tires (side to side)? I think that is a very important issue on a trailer. My flatbed (no shocks) would cup tires in just a few thousand miles. I started swapping them side to side every 3-4 months and now they last a lot longer.

Lack of shocks and swapping sides will still not cure the cupping until you balance the tires and check the suspension, brgs, etc.

I beg to differ once again.

We rotate our drive tires "side to side" on our peterbilt, mack and cranes because they get "torque cupping" and the cupping always come out.

Guess what Dude, we be talking about trailer tires, which are not subjected to "torque cupping". Go back to sleep!

Same principle!
Cupping is cupping!
Turning the tire around to rotate it in the opposite direction is the answer!

Sure never worked on any I tried even after I balanced the tires. 4,000 miles later they were still cupped. We traded the camper off for the 08 Flagstaff.

Let's see what the problem is: Turbs disagrees with OC. OC disagrees with Turbs.
Turbs is always right. OC is never wrong.

I think there are slightly different happenings with what Turbs describes (Big Heavy Cranes going (how fast?, Hiway use?) and trailers going much faster (smaller diameter and higher speed plus way different construction). Principlews are similar but I do see how the BHC cupping could be somewhat reversed and the trailer tires would not.
Which is correct, Turbs? OC?

How come you're still awake? You normally take a nap from 12:00pm -5:00pm and then go home according to Ms. Amy.

Some one else is doing the work, you're just watching and taking pictures as usual.
