We made it home safely and mostly without rain from our 10 day trip!
But the closer we got to home, the more windy it became. As we were pulling up our street, the rain started and the wind was horrible! But we made it in, parked the trailer, and went to check the livestock.
This is what we found:

A pecan tree down. The next door neighbor said it just happened as we were pulling in. It landed on the fence and in the horse's water trough.
Because of the drought, trees have been dropping gigantic limbs. The combination of drought and wind from the storm brought this tree down. We only got 2/3 inch of rain. We're still 18+ inches below normal for this year.
