Before you guys say bs this is true and I personally know this guy.
He gave this picture to my bosses son today on a job site.

This was me few years ago. That is a 16d nail from a pasload airless framing gun. Can't imagine that in the head.

Man you guys, that's rough. I know, somehow I missed this thread.
- I've only shot my finger once, but it was on the backside of a board- so I just slid it off. Not that bad, but..... Not even thinking, I went and grabbed a bottle of rubbing alcohol and pourd on it. Didnt even think about the alcohol going staight into the blood stream. Couple minutes latter I wasn't looking or feeling too good- called it a day.
- lucky for me my day was much better than what's mentioned above!

I went to hospital and dr. Just pulled it out. I went back to work. Did suffer little nerve damage but all good now. Dr. Said I was lucky missed both bones and major blood vessels. Still have the nail. Only time I had to go to hospital in the 30 years I've been in construction.
