My last toy was a custom chopper I built. Sold it a few years ago. I think I want to build a twin spooled pickup like the one below.

I built an awesome engine for a guys 1963 Chevy SWB 1/2t several years ago. He had deep pockets so I pretty much could do what I wanted. Built a small block 4 bolt main block up with a Scat power crank and 2.02 world product heads, wild cam, roller rockers, gear drive cam and many other tricks. Billet large cap HEI distributor. Edelbrock intake and carb. Computer modeling put it at around 625 HP.

It made for a wild ride and eventually took 500 lbs of ballast to keep the rear end hooked up.

Twin spooled Cheby

Sounds like sweet motor. It's one thing to get a bunch a HP out of motor but you gotta get it to hook up at the track too. Sounds like you did both. Awesome.
Back in the mid 80's I put together a 327. Bored .30 over , 202 Heads and a bunch of other goodies. I had it dyno'd at the local college. It turned 440 HP @ 6K. It was real responsive like a two stroke. I dropped it in a 68 Camaro with M-22 Muncie Rock Crusher, 3500 lb Hayes street and strip clutch and 4:11 posi with Zoom gears. 440 HP is weak at today's standards...lol.
I got the blessing from the DW to start another project. I'm pretty stoked. Looking for a mid 60's Cheby SWB , fleet side.
That Cheby sitting in the driveway in my bike pic was mine. 454 fuel injected big block. That truck was a beast.
