Our 2013 forest river sunseeker water heater stopped working on our way to pa any ideas?

Hard to say without many more details from you. Forest River uses several make and models of water heaters in their products, which we need to know what you have in order to troubleshoot.


Also need more details on what "not working" means. Some water heaters are gas only, and some are gas and electric.... so we don't know which yours is, and which part is not working.


If you can give more details, we probably can get you pointed correct.

Suspect 2013 Sunseeker has same water heater as our 2012 Solera - gas/electric 6 gallon Suburban.
First thought - as it is gas and/or electric, does it work on alternate power? That is, if it doesn’t heat on gas, does it heat on electric? Vice versa?
It needs 12 volts to work. 12volt house battery okay and switch turned on?
There is a circuit breaker in the 110volt circuit. If the problem is only when on 110volt, maybe breaker is tripped?
If the 110volt doesn’t work, but gas does, you can just run it on gas; ditto on electric if gas doesn’t work but electric does.

If it works on gas but not on electric you electric element may be fried. But as mentioned earlier we need more details. Hope you get up and running.

That's like asking "How long is a piece of rope". I could come up with 1/2 dozen answer but you probably would like the correct one or two. As stated. we need more info.

Thanks all we figured it out we had the propane tank filled at the previous stop and the guy didn't turn the value back on valve turned on Presto hot water working great!
