Webshots going away

It looks like Webshots as it has been know is going away. It is being replaced with a new service called Smile. The new service pulls pictures from other social media sites like Facebook, etc. and displays them in a time like fashion.

I do not like it . I need a photo hosting site that allows me to organize pictures in different groups and folders, like the old Webshots.

I know there are other services available, but I am looking for some personal feedback from anyone who uses a non Webshots service. Any service you would recommend, or would say to stay away from?
They are going to turn off the old Webshots on Dec 1st, and I would like to move my info before then.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

You might take a look at photobucket.com and see if that suits your needs.

I went from Webshots to Photobucket.
I bought 50 GB of storage - not that I need it right now, but to get rid of the ads.
I did the same thing at Webshots.
I find Pbucket uploads faster and I haven't had it lock up during uploads... yet.
Also, instead of clicking on a pic, then clicking for sharing, then clicking for size, etc... on Pbucket the image links are displayed on the right all of the time. One click grabs it then you paste.
I have 270 pics in one album and there is one "page" in that album. I can scroll through the whole album.
I like Pbucket MUCH better than Websh#ts.

Google has Picasa. It is a place to store and share pictures.
Picasa

Also if you have a login to MS LIVE you can store and share pictures there.

So what's going to happen to the 7 albums I have on Webshots???? Will they automatically transfer over to the new Smile service?

They are going to be or have been deleted.
Go to Webshots and download the zip files.

I use Flickr. I have a pro account that's $25 per year and it allows unlimited storage. It also allows me to upload very large files.

You can arrange your stuff into sets and collections. You can also manipulate the main page different ways depending on how you want it to look.
