Weight Police

You guys would have had a fit last week when I was traveling in ID and WY.
On one occasion, I had to pass a Ford F150 that had a UTV mounted on ramps that filled up the bed of the truck and angled upward so that the front of the UTV was over the cap, it was also pulling about a 25 foot trailer, with another UTV and trailer. Would have taken a photo, but was more concerned in passing the guy since he could not climb the hill efficiently. He was slung so low in the back he might have scraped some expansion strips on the road.

Then in the Wapiti campground, a Chevy 1500 with a fifth wheel and yes, a trailer with an ATV on the back. I guess he could have had a 6.2L engine, but not sure if it would make much of a difference, since the family alone, came close to exceeding the load limit and not sure where they put the Saint Bernard. Yes, they had a Saint Bernard; great looking dog, felt sorry for him. I'm assuming the dog rode in the fifth wheel.

Then outside of Riverton WY, a Nissan (Believe an extera I was passing so didn't get a great look but the emblem on the grill was obvious) towing a very long trailer that had its rear end lower than the F150 noted above. However, a state trooper in the opposite lane, made a quick turn around and appeared to be pulling them over, as seen from my rearview mirror.

But, also saw a new 2015 3500 Silverado pulling a smaller popup than mine.

I'm always amazed at the number of crazy unsafe rigs you see. Then there all the super lifted trucks towing a trailer at an insane angle.

I saw this a couple weeks ago driving home from work on I-40. I was worried about the golfcart that was bouncing up and down alot, and yes it was a bumper pull and the truck was squatting quite a bit. (I didn't have time to see if he had a wd hitch as I passed

Interesting... Do they even make Hobbi trailers anymore?

Of all the stuff that scares me as a motorcyclist, that stuff there is #3.

'sanford and son" trucks with billowing tarps are #2 and Deer are #1.
