My nightly rates run $0 per night since I boondock most of the time. On the rare occasion I stay at a Forest Service campground it runs $16 per night.

Anywhere from 20 bux all the way to abt 90 per night. The 20 was for electric only in a provincial park and the 90 was for a KOA with 4 people.

Zero dollars per night as long as we camp at one of the 9 KM Resorts campgrounds that we belong to - 8 in Washington and 1 in Oregon. And around $10 - $15 at one of the affiliates like RPI, Coast to Coast, etc. We stayed at a Good Neighbors affiliate last year and it cost 35 cents a night!

Well, it's not quite free since we had to buy a membership but at the rate we are camping, that will be paid off within 3 years. Then it will be free, free, free until the day we unhitch our TT for good in 20+ years.

I have paid as little as $20 for a water electric site at a county park. park ad a playground and some walking trails. It also had a public pool you could pay a few dollars to use.

State park is $25 for water/electric no frills campground in the woods with sites on the water and a beach to swim in the lake. Can fish also if you have a nc fishing license and can beach a boat at your site or use the boat ramp daily.

Most full hook up campgrounds are around $35-50 per night. They usually have a pool, playground, some activities for the kids.

oceanfront campgrounds on outer banks or myrtle beach will cost $65-100 nightly in season depending on how good the site is (near beach). these are more like camping resorts with pools, beaches, mini golf, arcade or some other activities.

state campgrounds in the outer banks on the beach can be obtained with little to no hook ups for about $25 night.

Then there is our membership campground. We had to buy in. Then we pay a yearly maintenance fee of $300. we can camp there as often as we like for up to 14 days at a time. don't pay to stay other than buy in and maintenance fee. The sister campgrounds are about $25 night. campground has pool, paddle boats, shuffleboard, playground, basketball court, mini golf, small rec room, activities director, catch/release pond, koi pond with waterfall, little store etc. using this membership I can have coast to coast for $130 yr and camp at one of the nicer beach campgrounds for $25 night.

so you can see it really varies a lot around here.

Manitoba Provincial Parks approx. $22.00 FHU and some with 50 amp service most others 30 amp. You need either a daily park pass $4 or annual for $40. Some even have free firewood! Most sites are large enough to accommodate large rigs.

Camping fees in MO state parks are $13 for a basic (no hookups) site, $21 for electric only, $23 for water & electric, and $26 for sewer/water/electric site. Only a handful of MO state parks actually have any sites that offer full hookups. If you want to reserve a site it will cost you an additional $8.50. Since I’m a senior citizen (65 or older) I get a discount of $2 per night.

I prefer to camp in COE parks where I get 50% off the camping fees with my Senior Pass. One of my favorite COE parks is the Dam West Campground at Carlyle Lake in IL and we only have to pay $13 a night for a full hookup site. Now that’s a great deal.

When we travel we stay at RV parks and I don’t consider that “camping.” Normally we pay $25 to $45 per night although we have paid a lot more than that for some of the destination parks we’ve stayed at. Ocean Lakes comes to mind where the nightly rate ranges from $66 to $73 per night depending on the site location.

I can only tell you what I've paid this year. $100 per night in FL, and have reservations in Cherokee for $43 per night. The biggest thing I hate about private campgrounds, is the per person fee. Some charge as much as $10/child. I find this totally unacceptable. It's a shame to pay more for your kids to go camping than it is for the site! I saw a family have to pay for an infant once. The family was a bit intimidated to say anything, but I wasn't! They did give the couple a refund.

Depends on your membership, we are Platinum Plus and I have never been to a TT park in our 7 yrs that did not have full hook ups. BTW, never said TT had level concrete pads, that is at Fawn Ridge.

My earlier camping days, I would park in the parking lot of the race track and that was that. Now that I am back into camping and going to parks with the little one, I try and find ones either close to activities or activities. Last year, we paid like $35 to $40 a night near Hershey (not highmeadow). This year, our first campout was at a super discounted rate of $40 for the pre season weekend and we got a credit of $40 for helping to cleanup. The 2nd was free and they invoice showed $140 for the weekend including $28 for the extra adult. Our next campout in June, the bill is $142 for the weekend including $20 for the extra adult. This is Karaoke weekend at Jellystone Maple Park in Wareham Ma.

Looking at the prices others are paying, either we should get rid of the little one so we can camp at parks with less or move.

I misread your post and see where I misunderstood.

I say that not all of them have full hookups, but I guess now that I think of it - I have to admit, only 1 comes to mind that I've camped/been at that didn't have FHU at all of the sites (Sea Pines, NJ).

Definitely depends on your membership - I'm very jealous of yours! And a little sad that I didn't come find you when we were both in Orlando.

On the opposite end of the spectrum - in our pop-up, we camped at Frontiertown in Ocean City, MD and paid $90/night.

Going back in a couple of weeks (still pre-season, though) and will be paying $45/night for the same hookups at the same place (just no waterpark, since it'll be pre-season). What a difference the time of year makes!

First time I used a East coast CG shower house. I walk a long way over there,I have my shower kit,towel,shower shoes. I shave,brush teeth,get naked,go into the shower,guess what,(You need 3 quarters). Who the hell takes money to the restrooms? Now I have Quarters in my shaving kit! Youroo!!
