What did you do to your G-kids Today?

We are trying to spend as much time with the kiddos (6 & 4) as we can now. Buying the camper has been the best formula. We now have longer periods together to lean about what is important to them and they get to lean about us, minus the parental filters. We talk to them like they are adults. These are relationships/experiences between us and will be remembered after we are gone, I hope.
It has been working perfect with one exception, the younger one, the granddaughter, now mimics DW facial expressions with attitude. Oh boy! DW is teaching her the looks and she does not miss a thing.
Do you regret a teaching moment or do it on purpose? Myself, I am rolling with laughter.

Not yet but I am sure it is coming (well maybe it has)........... Ours is the first & the DIL is overly protective on some foods & things soooo..... What they do not know won't hurt them He's two & a half you really got to be careful what you say as he repeats everything.........

I don't think DIL understood him being out in the middle of the cows singing at his greatdaddy's or ...........

........... Don't Ask....... Don't Tell ...........

Spoiling the grandkids is payback for those teenage years we all had to put up with 😈

How true. The DW does the spoiling. To DW this is sport, and she's way more into it than I am. I just laugh.

To tell on myself, I do love teaching new "phrases" to describe what I see, to them, cause I know it will be used in a sentence and out of context and at the wrong time in front of the parents.

Are we evil? Hope not. This kind of thing has to have been going on well before we had the idea.

Had we known grand children were so much fun, we would have had them first.
