What do you know about Evergreen?

I realize this is not a FR product ~ please don't throw me off ~ but we have found a tt that has our favorite floorplan as well as various features we really like in our weight range. This is the key. While we are seriously interested in the unit, we have had a bit of trouble getting information about it. Assuming it is a newer manufacturer? Any thoughts or input would be appreciated ~~~ Thanks!

I've only seen 1 in a campground and I've seen them so deeply discounted on dealer sites, seems like they can't even give them away.

I was seriously looking at the bunkhouse 5th wheel model that they have. In the end I decided it was bigger/longer than I wanted and a bit more money than I wanted to spend. In my search the dealers discounting Everygreen campers were no longer going to carry the brand. They were enticed to go exclusively Forest River. At the Hinkley Casino campground in late April and May was a couple that had bought the 340RK they were extremely happy and had had no issues. Lastly when I was looking I had met the Evergreen rep and felt he would advocate and take care of any issues that might arise.

Best of luck in your search,
Katie

We looked at a few before we bought the one we have now, they were ok with some original ideas but I get wary when I see defects on a new trailer that has been set up to show well.

I looked at a TT a number of years back when they first started production. They did not have the Floor plan desired and the dealer had little info. So we moved on.
I looked at them again when we decided to downsize our Cedar Creek. They were as nice as the Creek but did not have a small enough 5th wheel for our needs. The dealer we visited was LaMesa RV in Ft Myers, FL. They had a good inventory. We did find a 5th wheel that met our needs from Northwoods but the closest dealer was over 1000 miles away. We ended up with baby bus. If floor plan and price are right and the dealer is reputable, I would not be afraid to pull the trigger on an Evergreen. They appear to be as good as the rest of the mainstream manufactures with some good technology built in.

well, today I did some internet searching and found that the Sun Valley we are considering came out in 2012. NADA doesn't even list a value for them as a used model just "msrp" which is not very helpful. Originally, they were "green" but according to the evergreen forumz site, at some point they used that as a selling point and it was actually an upgrade. The roof has a TPO covering which the gentleman (Dirk at TampaOne RV) states many manufacturers are going to. They also vacuum seal the sides (as opposed to rolling) Supposedly this helps prevent delamination issues. At any rate, we'll see how things go. Thank you all for your input and Fonzie for your suggestion about the forum.
