Currently working part-time from home as a medical transcriptionist. Maybe will take that on the road in future! Did retire from nursing and working in medical offices, but toys cost money : Hubby already retired.

Starting my 5 th. year of retirement.
My DW has mostly filled the responsibilities of a domestic engineer. Although she worked part time for 10 years in a Christian Book Store before retiring to become a home school teacher and babysitter for out oldest granddaughter (now 18).
I had several jobs early in life but settled into the Industrial Maintenance field. After 12 years experience in that area, I was hired by a major auto manufacturer as an electrical/mechanical technician (maintenance man). After 18 years in that position, I was accepted for a position as the department Safety Coordinator in charge of Compliance Regulations, equipment evaluations/acceptance and Compliance Training. That kept me busy for the last 9 years before retirement.

Noticed the " Huey Cobra " avatar. Did you fly those? It was always a good feeling to hear them coming and watch as they rolled in for a gun run.

I'm a little over 10 years into an IT career, sometimes I question that decision DW manages inventory for a cell phone company. I can do 90% of what I do remotely (read from the camper somewhere) as long as I have internet. DW on the other hand has to visit several different stores so we don't travel as often as I'd like to.

Better than being labelled a "Meathead" I guess.
