Well I’ll be turning 64 this fall and since my decision to go into manufacturing some 43 years ago has turned out to be the wrong decision, my retirement date will be the date on my death certificate.
There are people near my age that will be better off than me, but since I work in the automotive sector and the government here which is run by the special interests, which have no interest in the foundation of this country they’re destroying, I have been downsized and off shored. FYI production employees at my place of work make the living wage of $10.00 and no benefits. How many of these people will enjoy what we do?

I was a Xerox service technician for 32 plus years. I serviced over 40 different products for them over the years. Last year, I moved to Oce, (a Canon Group Company) and am working on their line of continuous feed (roll) printers and the Canon iP digital press. My retirement date will be on my death certificate. Both companies are good places to work for, but the printing industry is 24/7, so the service end of it is too.
My lovely spouse is a full time college student. She has more letters behind her name than in it, with advanced degrees in Nursing and Business. I hope it pays off when she finishes her PhD in Healthcare Management.

Retired from the Army in 2003 after 22 years service (7 years as a Russian linguist; then a 7 year break in service to go to college; back in for 15 more years as a Veterinary Corps officer)
Still work full-time as a veterinary pathologist. Not sure when I'll retire the 2nd time!
