We plan on over 10,000 miles towing in 2013, so I will let you know if it was a waste of money.
Post results as you go .

OPTi-Lube XPD looks good as well. By the way I use Stanadyne in my 27HP. Diesel tractor as well and my old 18 hp yanmar tractor. . Just me.

I see they have four different formulas. Which one do you use? I am currently using Power Service but would like to give the Stanadyne a try.

I may as well switch to .

I'm in the process of doing an injector clean right now.

I found a great price on the Stanadyne. They are offering free shipping and 10% off today. Works out to be about $5.90 per 16oz bottle (case price). I went with the Performance formula. After reading about the different formulas it seemed like the most complete one.

There is some good information here on the different formulas.

I'm interested to see your results. I haven't done any true testing, but I feel it helps with MPG and regen's.

Herk, I'm thinking your gona need more than a gal. I use DK grey bottle in my 03 7.3 Ford every top off. I think (cant remember) it calsl for about 8oz for my 38 gal tank. I'm not that exact on the quantity I add but havent had any injector issues, yet. I don't have a base line of before/after results, I just use it. I don't believe it to be snake oil.

1 gallon treats 512 gallons of diesel (1/4 oz per gallon). At 12 mpg (what I get now towing) is 6144 miles. If it works out in 6000 miles (I should SURELY know by then), I will buy the 5 gallon pail.
