My brother did it....just plain ole pop rivets....not a "pot" per se, it's a PAN, enamel type used a lot back then. here's a couple pictures.
You can tell it was used a LOT, but to me it's about the memories and it has a special place on a wall in my kitchen.
Hanging there with it are the big serving forks, spoons, etc. (stamped U.S.) Mom and Dad got from the army surplus store when they first got married.
Back from the days of when something broke, ya FIXED it instead of throwing it away and getting a new one.
