I have a Galaxy Note 4 and use an LG 8.3 Tablet. DGF has a Galaxy S5 and uses a Samsung 8" tablet.

iPhone 4... I spent too much $$$ on my trailer to buy a new phone or an iPad!

iPhone 6. The iPhone...the original, and still the best. In my opinion.

I've got a Droid Turbo (VZw) and the DW has a Galaxy S3. She is due for an upgrade and we were originally hoping for the release of the S5 mini on VZw, but it just never happened (she wants a smaller phone.). She has now caved and with the announcement last week of the Galaxy S6 edge we are holding out for her replacement. Rumor has it pre-sales will start April 1 with sales happening around the 16th. It is one sharp phone IMHO.

As for why, you really need to be the judge of what you are going to use it for. If pictures are your key, focus on the camera and storage (although cloud storage helps a lot - we use OneDrive), battery life - well you need to look at the specs for both talk time and standby, browsing and visibility - screen size and resolution, etc , etc.

That's why I went with the Turbo (the specs are across the board!)

Android vs. iOS is a completely personal preference.

Thanks for all the input on cell phone, I finally decided on an iPhone 6plus. Now to load all new camping apps.😃😄

Although it seems everybody and his dog has a smart phone, hubby and I only have quaint flip phones, and only recently got texting due to the fact that our son is now on our plan and has an Iphone 6+ with all the bells and whistles, so we 'share'. We still don't have internet on ours, our phone doesn't support it. No great loss, hubby can hardly manage dialing.

Congrats on your new iPhone! I've always wanted one but just haven't made it happen yet.

On another note-
I still like my ZMAX smartphone especially for my budget but I just found out that the battery cannot be replaced.

if you aren't tech savvy, i strongly suggest using the Iphone over any Android phone. The iPhone is designed for user experience and is considered easier to use. Android can be endlessly customized, but things may not always work the same.

Fun fact: I develop mobile apps for phones for one of the major telecom companies

I'm still holding out for my George Jetson watch!

(We've had iPhones starting at the 3G and currently have the 5C. We like the 6 but not the 6 Plus, it's just TOO big!!)

I have the 5 but I can see it being easier to use the 6+ but size has it fall backs to just wondering how people that have the 6+ think

I have the 5s and prefer the size, however the DW has the 6 plus and loves it. She says its easier to read and use. So personal preference I guess.

We both have iphones... which IMHO is way over rated. My smart phone is NOT... smart!
The only good thing I have found its go for is creating a personal hot spot for an internet conx for my computer.

I have a BlackBerry Z30 on the Rogers network here in Canada. Good phone and even better price ... Paid for 100% by my employer! It's a bit too big for a belt holder. Would have preferred the Z10. The new BB10 models are not nearly as rugged as the previous generation but they're much better for Internet, video and reading documents/spreadsheets.

I have a 3 year old iPad with lots of RVing apps, but it's relatively slow on my home wifi. It only gets around 35-40 Mbps (download) while DW's Samsung tablet gets 90 Mbps. Farmville runs pretty fast on that!

I would never have gotten the 6plus if I was still working (retired since March 1) it would be in the way while climb in and under machinery. I like the big phone for most things I do now.

Been using the Motorola RAZR M for more than 2 years. Does all I need and I like the small size. Only drawback is battery is not user replaceable. Wife has new Samsung Galaxy S5. Nice but big.
