This is the Official Las Vegas Visitors and Convention site. You can download a visitor guide from the homepage. Might help in planning your days and nights and travels.

Lots of great ideas! I'm going to print this thread and do my research tonight. I did look up Red Rock Canyon and printed the information on it last night, so it's a definite visit.

We do plan on touring all the major hotel/casinos because like some said, each is unique and just amazing to see.

Thanks everyone!

Pink jeep tours go to the red rock canyon. They have a jeep/ram vehicle and it is awsome in the canyon.
We spent 5 nights in vegas and this was the highlight.
The pianists are excellent at the bellagio at night
Carrott. Top was really funny, swearing not that bad but some profanity to be expected

My son and daughter-in-law are driving down from Salt Lake for the weekend to stay with us also. We're staying at the Luxor, so we'll be close to most things. I'm wondering if anyone that visited can suggest some must do's. This is what we have so far:

Hoover Dam
Fremont St.
Pawn Stars pawn shop
Bellagio Fountains

We also have tickets to see Terry Fator and will probably see one of the Cirque shows. I thought about Carrot Top, but I'm afraid his swearing would be too much for us.

I hate to go all that way and miss something. Suggestions on must see's?
HI!

Take a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, Maverick picks you up at the hotel. The bus tours are 10 hours minimum due to the drive distance and the speed limit.

I took a road bike tour up Red Rock Canyon and if you have a car you can take to scenic tour road which is about 18 miles and it loops back onto the main road. Terrific scenery, but make sure you get out at the lookout stops.

Have fun and make sure you tip the servers, the drinks are free when gambling and the servers only get tips. If you have spare change the premium outlet mall is at the north side of town.

I don't think I'd ever get the wife in a Helicopter. That would be a great ride though.

Definitely doing Red Rock. I might look into the jeeps like boubou suggested.

Thanks for the tips on the tips

The pink jeep tour to the red rock canyon was close to 5 hours. Dress warm, I was surprised it was much colder in the desert. The tour was fantastic in the pink jeep.

LOL! Ok here goes:

1st day (Friday) - leave Valdosta and arrive Vegas about 10:30 AM. Lots of time left to do stuff, but we're beat since we had to get up at 3:00 AM EST to catch our plane. Drove to base just to check transit time. Drove back to the Luxor and muddled around there the rest of that day.
