I didn't really pay much attention to the age break down when I posted.

Although now that I do see it I guess that kinda explains the reason that there aren't very many posts after 7-8pm, over half of the forum members are already sleeping!

But seriously I have even noticed the same thing while camping. Majority of the people 40ish and under most of them are either in pop-ups or tenting it. And the older the people get usually the bigger and nicer the units get. I believe mainly because the older the people (lets say 50+) have more expendable income and also more free time since their kids are our of the house.

I have found myself to be in the huge minority, camping in a TT since I was 21 and at 32 buying a 2012 TT. Granted we don't have tons of expendable income, but to us spending time (especially camping) with family and friends is a priority and well worth the time and money. Especially the memory's that we will have of our daughter (now 3) and the memorys that she will hopefully have for the rest of her life...

My wife and I are 49. Usual story, started in a tent, then a pop up and now a HTT, which we love. The kids still love camping with us. If fuel prices continue to rise, I don't see myself with anything bigger.

Wow, us in the blue are getting squeezed out, and green is taking over!
- hadn't looked at the pole in a while, just an observation.

Thanks very much. Spent my whole life in either a tent or a old school bus in the sticks of Louisiana. As for me and my family we did the tent thing until daddy said no more. Bought a 26 BH and we love it.
