We keep ours behind the shop, out of view of the street. 30 amp service and water available. We use ours for guests occasionaly, including this coming weekend. If i had a dump station, I'd be all set.

We use ours as a guest house in the summer as well, and can use our house hold sewer as a dump station with long enough hoses as our septic tanks are between the trailer and house and are covered with fiberglass manhole covers as we get the system pumped out every fall. Although we have not done that yet as we use the trip to town to dump the tanks as a test run to make sure everything is ok on the trailer prior to departing on long trips.

Side of our home on it's on 40' x 12' level concrete pad with 50amp service. No trees around and keep it covered including tire covers... neighbors don't mind as their garage faces our camper and we all have 1 acre lots.

Right next to my garage. Wasn't sure if she was gonna fit. Had to back in through a 10 foot gate. It was tight but I got it.

If I had an acre and half there'd be more than my 5th wheel on it.
My 50x 100 lot has the house, 4 cars and trucks on drive, 2 in garage and when trailer comes home for stocking it just fits on the drive.
Some snotty neighbors you have there. That the trouble when people consider themselves"upper class"

.
we have a little more than an acre, have a huge parking pad behind the house and inside the fenced yard - for now I've got the trailer parked opposite my garage doors, next to the pool and lawn (as shown by the red rectangle on the photo)

I had a nice 24' boat, on a trailer, that I kept alongside the garage doors (blocked 3 of the 4 bays) - it was "hidden" from our POA spys for a while but they peek over fences, looking for things like that - so, had to move it, then sold it

don't know how long before I get "the letter" telling me I'm "in violation" !.....Bill

I keep mine in my yard on a concrete pad with full hookups. I also live in a subdivision. Nothing has ever been said about it and we have no rules about RV in yard. If you belong to Good Sam they have been quite active fighting laws that do not allow RV parking. Been real successful with it too.

That was the same issue I had. Just enough room to get it through to the back yard.

As long as the unit is not disheveled and disgusting, it should not be any more of an eyesore than my neighbor parking a Prius in his drive. I think that that car is absolutely hideous, but I would not protest he remove it from his lot to apease me.
OMG! I've found another person who agrees with my assessment of the Prius! LOL. Look at the back of a Pontiac VIbe (voted one of the worlds ugliest cars) and then look at the back of the Prius. Coincedence? I call them "weinie cars." And don't get me started on Smart cars.

I agree with you also, in the respect that not everyone can afford storage fees. What is wrong with parking your unit next to your house or in your yard? As long as its not falling apart, it is not an eyesore. I have no patience for snooty neighbors who think everyone should live in cookie-cutter houses. I'm not a Stepford wife! I would never, ever, live in a neighborhood with an HOA.

Oh, and my avatar shows our TT parked exactly where it sits. In the parking lot next to our house. My husbands employer owns the lot and allows us to park it there, but there are "no parking" signs everywhere in the lot. We would never, ever, think to hold them responsible for any damage, injury, etc. that would occur there, so they have been gracious enough to allow us to park it there. Don't know what we'd do if we had to find a place to store it. I suppose we could put it in our narrow driveway, but it would be a b**** to get it in there and then we wouldn't have anywhere to park our vehicles. Lets hope it never comes to that.
