I am wanting to sell my campground membership. What are some good areas to post the sale?

It is with Travel Resort of America with home resort of Sycamore Lodge near Pinehurst NC. I am assuming it is a charter membership, anyhow that's what the piece of paper says.

Craigs list. There are also membership resale companies that will advertise it for you. Remember, it is a time share, they are often times white elephants, so price accordingly.

If you choose CL to try to sell this, create a new gmail address and use it for at least all initial contacts and conversations with potential buyers. Do not use you regular email address or phone number.

I see sycamore/TRA memberships in craigslist all the time. I see them for as cheap as $1 plus transfer fees up to $6000. One thing to remember is depending on the level membership you have, you may not be able to sell it if you bought it resale already. Check the contract, many allow for 1 resale or 1 family transfer/will. We have been members since 2011. We love sycamore lodge but it is getting harder and harder to. Getting a site and administrative personnel has been frustrating us more and more.

Craigslist now masks email addresses even on replies.
