While I'm at it

While I'm here otherwise not busy, here are a few of my pet peeves:

1."Thanks phfank X1000+". No longer creative and conveys no information. On the other hand Frank is a great guy with a great icon. are all users just trying to increase their number of posts?

2. "Send with my expensive smart phone with FRF app" So what -its better and easier to send with my old full size computer.

3. Those ever present large heading advertisement for email readers, "you need to update your security" etc. Yes I know someone wants to make a buck somehow

1. Many of our forum members are old (myself included) and suffer from the effects of CRS so Frank's daily reminder is very important to us.

2. I agree, but it's easier to send a reply with the smartphone while we're driving.

3. It cost money to operate a forum like this, those ads pay the bills. Without them, no FRF. You did realize that this forum has no connection to Forest River Inc. didn't you?

bobby 75 thank you for the nice comment about me. Post the count down is something like a habit that I have gotten into. We are a one big happy here.
I am one that also suffers from CRS

Oakman I 2X your quote.

It's no worse than answering something like "I can't help you with your problem but there are a lot of people here that can"

Not to worry, I have no plans to ever return to a state where there are open warrants on me. Although by now I would think the statute of limitations would have nullified those warrants.

I do that. Mostly to bump threads that have been sitting for a few hours/days to bring them back up to the top of the recent posts page.

I agree, if they would only enforce it everywhere. Talking on a cell phone should be right up there unless it's 'hands free'.
