Wh.at the video doesn't show is the view out of the right mirror. The four wheelers were anxious to get back in the left lane, so they were probably only concerned about themselves. In too much of a rush to let him finish passing one more vehicle. Judging by the damage to the vw, their speeds at impact looked to be pretty much the same. Looking st the video, it also looks like the car driver was trying to force his way through.
