WHY?
Can anyone tell me a logical reason for folks putting "Sent from my iPhone using Forest River Forums" or similar statement?
My question is Who cares and what difference does it make?

I don't know about I-phone but my I-pad does it by it's self.

iPhone does the same thing, so does other smartphones like the Samsung. Not sure if you can turn if off.

You can change it if you go to settings, then signature....

It is because every device has its own unique signature. I'm guessing when FR enabled mobile app, the default was to auto signature the equipment. Tell the develper to default to off. I'm with you coot on this one, just eliminate that signature from the get go.

DH detests doing free advertising for products, so much so that when we buy a new vehicle and they've already put their dealer "badge" on it, he'll tell 'em he's not signing the paperwork 'til the badge is gone and the spot where it was stuck on is polished back to original.
However, we're so happy with our dealer we kept the vinyl spare tire cover they put on it with their name/info. in place until today. Took it off and now it's just the brown plastic (?) tire cover.

I do the same. Left it on a new 67 Chevelle as the dealer gave free oil changes and lube as long as you owned the car if you left his chrome emblem on. Bob Eriksen Chevrolet Milan, IL. You could furnish your own oil and filter, labor & lube free.

It is a built in signature that the iPad/iPhone/Android app inserts - it is stupid and I wish that the app would just use the sig you have stored on the FRF.
I love my iPad but hate the FRF App

aHAH! Sneak apparently has better negotiating skills than you do! He made 'em remove their badge from Biff and he still gets free oil changes with a free wash every time for the life of ownership of the truck.
Dude drives a hard bargain, for sure.
When he starts the negotiating I get up and give 'im plenty of elbow room. "Guys I'll be back when it's time for me to sign something...if that time comes." And yep, there have been times we didn't get to the signing time.

I get free oil too....had to buy a BMW tho...lol...not sure I got the good end of the deal....
