As nice as that looks, I'd still not be able to get back up from the ground without lots of pain...

My boss has a tent for camping. He recently bought cots to get him and his betrothed off the ground. We that have campers tell him he is just 1 step away from a tent on wheels and then look out as it doesn't seem to end after that.

What's that thing cost? Seen plenty of window AC units in tents via the AC Tent Boot, but not solar. X2 what ThunderRoad said. Tent camping is fun, and I'll give my kids the experience, but I'll stick to the amenities of the home on wheels.

Yup, he's stepped onto the slope. Once you're off the ground onto a cot, you think about standing up to get dressed. A tent big enough to acommodate cots and provide head room is about the same trouble to put up as is a pop up. But, a trailer needs no setting up ... and we're off!

Ben there, done that,

No awning to speak of and no place to hang the RVQ, no way.

And like the others have posted the ground is NOT user friendly to me anymore.

I wouldn't use one either . I've done my time in a tent since I was a kid. No more for me. Used to do some heavy duty backpacking , lived on freeze dried food for days at a time.
The wifey would never give up her private potty and shower and wouldn't give our kitchen , the DW feeds me well...lol
