Wind blows over travel trailer on Mackinac Bridge

I saw this on the internet and it appears to be a Coachmen trailer, but the pic is blurry. Hope everyone is all right and wonder if it's one of our members.

Mackinac Bridge reopened to traffic : News : UpperMichigansSource.com More than one involved. Story says no injuries which is great.. I've driven on the grates with tt behind in storm when my TT became weightless behind my truck and thought that break away hitch might be useful at time. Combination of lift and sudden impact of side winds makes gives a strange sensation of tt not being there anymore.

I saw it on the news this morning. They said the wind gust was 65 miles per hour.

I was up there this last weekend. Had some pretty severe storms move through. Wasn't on the bridge at the time, was just south of it. Wonder if the storms had something to do with it. We have been escorted across the bridge several times due to the wind conditions....scary stuff.

we were camping an hour south of there. the storms that rolled through were pretty bad. indian river jellystone park is a half hour south and two people were hit by lightning and one by a falling tree at the park. the lightening blew three transformers in the park and the evacuated the park. we were supposed to be there but cancelled last weekend and went to gaylord instead. sure are glad we changed plans.

We have crossed twice this year and due to construction had to stay in the grated lame. I actually feel better with our 7000 lb trailer than I did with our 24 foot criuse lite we had that was only around 4000 lbs. we crossed with it last year in a 40 mph wind. They had the warning signs on and had trucks and rvs at very limited speeds.

Years ago some lady had her little car blow right off the bridge. Scary.
