!!!!!!!wonderful snow!!!!!!!
We got snow here in Warsaw,NC today, about 6 inches and more snow tomorrow before it rains it all away. I have made four batches of snow cream today, my snow cream is better than ice cream. It snowed about two weeks ago and I put about ten pints in the freezer then, I will put more in freezer tomorrow. Then by Friday its on to the treadmill at the gym to work off that fat, it will not be fun then and then more propane

Thats so funny! There is no such thing as "wonderful Snow"....if you like it that much I can box some up and ship it to you!!!!!
Like 38FL Camper...I am done with snow and winter this year...its been horrible...2nd coldest winter in 120 years of record keeping here! The electric utility was on the news saying people are calling constantly saying there must be an error in their meter readings!!! Nope...just that the 2nd coldest winter on record will cause those high electrical bills!
I need to figure out how to reduce the size of my pics so I can upload them on here and share what real snow banks look like with ya'll.

I'll trade you some ice, sleet and freezing rain for that snow.
It's a good thing I'm not at HD tonight....some idiot interviewed there on the news just said;
cheer up it'll be spring before you know it
I'da smacked 'im, then smacked 'im again just to make sure he understood I wasn't amused by his comment or the smirk on his face when he said it.

I was stationed in Alaska for 2 years in the Army and I never got tired of seeing it snow, and it was cold and I loved that too. I can put on enough clothes to stay warm but I can't take off enough to stay cool. I walk out in the snow in just flipflops, DW says I am none to bright.

Personally I can take off enough clothes to stay cool, however I am sick and tired of shoveling and snow-blowing this stuff, not to mention driving nice and slow to stay between the trees.
Plus we were on the generator for 8 hours last Thursday and may be there again tomorrow.
I blame Prius owners!

I may get to stay in camper for a few days because of the snowstorm, the storm may take out the power lines and we get to stay in camper. Wow that will be nice, I always like to stay in camper. DW does not like to stay in camper much when we are at home, this will be a treat for me

Create a folder on your desktop. Select the pics you want to post and put copies of them in the folder. Left click on a pic so it opens in Windows. Right click the pic and select "edit" from the menu. Look top left and select "resize." Select pixels and make the width 600 pixels. Click save. When you finish, the folder will contain all the resized pics making it easy to find them when you begin uploading. They will upload mucho pronto.

Isn't a prius considered a portable generator? Be sure to pull min breaker to the fusebox before powering up you house or you will see some very unamused electric utility workers entering your house unannounced

Yeah. When I lose power, I run gen cords to freezer and frig only. Everything else can wait. Alternate between them and RV battery charger so furnace can run continuous.

I use pure vanilla extract, sugar. and half and half milk, then I use a beater and beat the mixture up, then you have to taste it to make sure it is right. The trick is to put a lot of air in the snow cream, I beat the snow cream until it gets smooth. You can't put to much air in it, it is better than the ice cream that you buy at the store. You can put the snow cream in the freezer and it will not get hard, it will stay soft. I keep it for at least 6 months and it is as good as the day I made it

Yeah, momma used to make it and it was always right. Mine just didn't have the flavor I remembered. Was hoping for something like
1 gal snow (packed)
1 tbsp vanilla
2 cups half and half.
Etc.
Ha. I know. Good cooks don't give up their recipes. Lol.

No its not like that, you have to taste the snow cream, let me let DW tell you how she does it.You want a gallon bowl of loose snow, not packed.Put in three tablespoons of vanilla extract, one cup to one and one fourth cups sugar and a pint of half and half milk. You can add more half and half if you need it.Beat it with a mixer until creamy, you need to watch and not over mix.enjoy.

Great. Now if we can get a 4th snow in Louisiana I'll try it your way. Thanks.
