Howdy to all our fellow V-Nose fans
. Just now discovered this group, like a few others. We have had ours for a few months now and have been on several short trips of a few days and one where we camped through Minnesota, across the Michigan U.P. and back down through the rest of Michigan and back home to Kansas City. Taking about three weeks in all. Only happy things to report. no problems, so far (as I knock on wood!).
Can't say exactly why but this trailer is about a ton heavier than the one it replaced and it pulls better. Gas mileage is about the same if not just a bit better and the handling is much improved.
The only issue I have had to address so far is the lack of an outside range hood exhaust vent in the front kitchen. I installed a power vent in the front of the trailer which does a fine job of exhausting the excess heat. Not such an easy job but helps keep it cooler in the warm weather. This time of year, it's a moot point.
Regards to all, Mike & Shari
