Went out on our first trip of the season this past weekend. Had to get one in before we head out west to Yellowstone the end of this month. The "seat of the pants" dyno tells me that my mods helped the trucks pulling power. Before, if I would run the cruise control on interstate the truck would drop about 3-4 MPH and downshift when going over an overpass. On this trip on the very same overpasses the truck would lose 1 mph and the revs would come up a little along with the now audible tone of the engine and speed would maintain without downshifting. Big thumbs up from me for now being able to use the cruise control!! The exhaust is not that much louder when not towing but is noticable when towing. I like it, DW may not (she drove seperate on this trip). MPG was about the same, 9 MPG when towing about 65 MPH. Overall, very happy with the exhaust, intake, and programmer.

Hope the mods work out for you. Interested in hearing how they work for you.

I have had little to no trouble with my Avy. You have peaked my interest about the rear end tech service bulletin as we are leaving for a two week trip out to Yellowstone the end of next month. If I will have problems it will be in the mountains with my luck. I also added a tranny cooler. I purchased the GM version which was a pain in the *$$ to install but it is OEM and does an excellent job, temps never get above 195 even in the blazing heat of summer. This winter I installed an Airaid intake tube, Flowmaster exhaust, and a Predator tuner for a little more pulling power. Weather is yet to clear for us to get out camping so I haven't tested the mods yet.

Mine has generally been good. Had a technical service bulletin done on the rear axle. They drain and flush the axle and then re-locate the vent tube. I was getting a burnt gear box smell when towing. I was a non-believer but it worked. I read about the bulletin after researching it myself. It only had about 45000 kms on it at the time. I added an auxillary tranny cooler on it for towing too. Other then that it's been great!...How's your's? Saw your post about the tow/haul here below. What i've read about the tow haul button is that it keeps the revs longer in a gear before shifting to maintain the torque. It's all about the torque going up hills.
