After the tanks have finished draining and the drain hose disconnected, I just use the little 6" wand that comes on the can to spray inside the dump outlet on the valves while working them 2 - 3 times. Then open them, and spray the shafts as you close them.I have had the luxury of haveing my own dump station at the 2 different places we called home, but you could wait to get home to spray them so as not to hold up the parade at camp dump stations.I have missed doing it more than a few times when we were on the road, and they will stay greasy for 2 -3 dumps.

Hi. How do you spray the fluid film on the valves, or do you just spray the shafts and work it in and out? Thanks
