You'll have a blast but be careful if you are ATVing. Cottonwood pass is not bad. Just be patient and take it slow and you'll really enjoy the scenery.

I won't be there that time frame but if you driveby Colorado Springs and need a place to crash overnight, shower, refills your fresh water tank, or have some good BBQ, give us a holler.

TonyD, thanks for the great info. This is will be a first on many levels - ATV trip (I have experience from AFG, IRQ, and other armpits of the earth; wife is amateur); and highest level of elevation I have towed our 34' TT (have done switchbacks in Appalachian and Blue Ridge). We arrive Taylor Park (staying in their RV park and rest of party has a cabin) on Monday 27 June. Will you still be in the area?

Again, thanks for the GREAT tips - some were reminders for me. Cheers!
