Sorry for late reply. There are 8 holes in the recliner frame for mounting. I used 3/16 lag bolts into poly receivers. And it feels pretty secure. In the center of the platform there are no "studs" to fasten to so go slow on snugging them up. If it ever comes loose... I will replace the lag bolts with Yellow Zinc Hollow Wall T Anchor (Menards). I have zero complaints on the recliners though. Installation was a breeze.
