I'm looking at purchasing a setup just about the same as yours, except a 2015 8289WS and F-150 (XLT, 4x4, 3.6L Ecoboost, SuperCab 8' bed, w/Max Tow & Heavy-Duty Payload).
My question is, a rep from Rockwood told be the overhang on the 8289WS measured 59" from the bottom of the overhang to the ground, and the Ford F-150 Towing Guide says that tailgate height from the ground to top of closed tailgate can be 56-60".
Did you find you have enough clearance with your setup? If you get an opportunity, would you consider measuring your two for me (bottom of overhang to ground and ground up to top of tailgate)?
