    I see where you ask if the controller remembers the settings if you loose power... If you did ask the answer is yes it does, I have them on a switch and shut them off in the winter. I turn them back on in the spring. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to set them up seeing how the ones I got where not in Degrees Fahrenheit but in Celsius, after that it was all good. I programed all three a little different so they would come on and off as needed with one of the two on top being set around around the 70 degree and the other around 80 degree and the bottom set around 75 degree if I remember... But me being a permanent setup and always on shore power I wanted them running all the time so to say. Any warm day they all run, but does make a big difference in the temp back there. Stays cooler and the fridge doesn't run as much.
