Mine has generally been good. Had a technical service bulletin done on the rear axle. They drain and flush the axle and then re-locate the vent tube. I was getting a burnt gear box smell when towing. I was a non-believer but it worked. I read about the bulletin after researching it myself. It only had about 45000 kms on it at the time. I added an auxillary tranny cooler on it for towing too. Other then that it's been great!...How's your's? Saw your post about the tow/haul here below. What i've read about the tow haul button is that it keeps the revs longer in a gear before shifting to maintain the torque. It's all about the torque going up hills.

    Randy,

I have experimented with using and not using the tow/haul switch. I now always run with the two haul switch on. What it does is increase the shift points of the electronic transmission about 500 RPM putting it more into the powerband of the 5.3L engine. It will shift into overdrive at about 60-65 MPH but tends to not stay there very long if you are on even slightly hilly terrain so if I am running 65 down the highway I will also shift it into "3" instead of "D" to keep it from "hunting in and out of overdrive". Don't expect great gas mileage towing, I get 9-10 MPG at best if I keep it around 55 MPH.

Kurt, When you tow, do you run the tow/haul switch? It seems to keep it in the lower gears and it never goes into overdrive. Is that what it is suppose to do? Had to take the trailer back to the dealer, a vent in the bathroom was leaking. They re caulked it, and also gave me a free Max Air vent to also help keep the water out. They said they feel all trailer should come with them. I paid to have one put on the front vent over the bedroom. $40.00 installed.
    Thanks,
    Randy
