Seafish, I'm sorry, I'm just now seeing this. Well, there is a method in the setup so that you can 'identify' your mobile hotspot by ssid. You can then assign a date upon which your bandwidth is reset. (billing date). If your hotspot normally gives you say 25mbit down. (pretty good speed), but watching a single movie blows through your data, you can throttle that hotspot to say 5mbit so it uses it "slower" therefore extending the usage of your hotspot before the provider throttles it.
You'll have to go look up the specifics and how to on it via their website. Everything I see is evidently from a previous version. I haven't had need to actually use that feature.
Personally, I found an ATT hotspot via otrmobile.com and haven't looked back. Got unlimited unthrottled data on ATT for $60/month. Been using it now for 2 months. works GREAT.
