Hey Tom, we must have been brothers or cousins. I got my first balsa control line model when I was in the seventh grade. It was the day that Kennedy was shot. Hard to forget that. I have fished and hunted all my life. I have crewed Drag Race Cars over the years, The guy I raced with with won the Gators and the Springs in 1970 2 punk kids with no money. We worked on Saturdays at a machine shop doing valves jobs and head surfacing. The shop closed at 1 pm and after that we were allowed to work on our own stuff. The guy that actually ran the shop for a parts house called Dickson Distributing. Was Earl Muskerille opened his own shop called USA Racing Engines and his logo was Home of the Whop Shop He was a pretty famous Modified/Comp and big go fast boat engine builder.
