I am just in reverence of how well you kept that unit. I seriously thought they were still making the model looking at your picture from 2013.
I have a lot to do to get mine up and even workable. But it is a joy to see one that was perfectly maintained. If they could have only designed an adequate roof for that huge baby. Every unit I see now has the sagging roof at the ends like mine. It seems they just grew the original design from a much smaller model out further and further and of course it didn't adequately support the weight just from the sq footage unless it belonged to someone like you that kept it inside a garage/building.
Anyway, thanks for showing us how lovely those units can be.

Dear zs325RES, I am the proud and sad owner of a 1994 Jayco Cardinal SD trailer that is NO WHERE near the beauty that you '93 model is/was. Oh my heavens that thing looks absolutely amazing.
My grandparents had one of the nicest airstreams from 1976, and it kind of spoiled me even though I didn't ever camp in it. It was just a dream to walk into.
Well, when I saw the '94 Cardinal 6 SD with almost every option I loved it, but sadly I didn't do my home work on it. I bought it for 2500.00 but it has a super leaky roof, much of the nice interior finishes like the valence and curtains are gone, and I'm going to have to replace the wood on each pull out bed, and the roof ... well it's got to be replaced. But when I saw your 2013 listing here for your '93 I just about fell over. That thing is a mint. Do you still have it?

Sorry about my first post, as my phone signal was lost, Back to your question, My truck tows it wonderful, it is like it is not even back there once you get up to speed. I only had 1 problem and that was running it in Cruise Control, so I do not, I normally keep it between 60-65 mph usually around 62 and that seems to bwe the trucks sweet spot if you know what I mean. I Usually get around 8.5-9.5 mpg when I am towing. The only other problem is that it sags quite a bit in the rear wh=ith the extra weight of my new camper, I am going to try Roadmaster Active Suspension first, if this boes not solve it I will then put in Air Bags and stiffen it up. I do not like them because they never seem to hold air. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Scott
