360IBL Fantastic Kitchen fan

How do you all feel about the performance of you fantastic fan in the kitchen? Mine doesn't really seem to move any air. Moves about as much air as the ceiling fan in the living room. Maybe there is something blocking ours. What are your experiences?

We don't have a fan in our kitchen area other than the little vent-a-hood over the range. We just have a vent over by the couch and it isn't motorized

Interesting about the fan over the couch. Mind taking a picture?

Will look to see if I have any pics that show it...it's just a vent with a crank opening which we put a topper on. If I can't find one, I'll take a pic next time we check it in storage...probably a week or so

This is not my picture but it sort of shows it. It looks like a square light but it's really the vent. It just hand cranks open and closed, not motorized. Will take a better pic next time we are there.

Interesting. We don't have that in ours. I wonder if it is also braced and wired for an additional AC unit.

Now you have me questioning mine.. I have the same ceiling fan in the pic and it is completely worthless. On high, you stand under it and you do not feel an ounce of air blowing down on you. I think the fan is way to close to the ceiling so it can't pull air in to blow it down. I'm going to have to unzip my cover now and see if I have that vent or not..

BRB lol.

Never mind, I do have the same fan (just like in the bathroom).. you can barely see it at the top of this pic.

We have one of the first 360s made apparently and they made improvements/mods on later models. Guess the fan is one of them as ours is just a vent, not a fan. Only other exhaust fan is in the bathroom and so far it's worked well. Have never used a fantastic fan so maybe I just don't know what I'm missing. LOL

I have a Maxx Air in the kitchen/living room area, does a fine job moving air in or out and makes a real difference in air temperature.

Big thing with any vent or fan in you need to have a window/door open for flow.
