Awnings for Dummies

Hi friends,

The awning on my 2016 2013 30DS has simply stopped operating. It worked fine on one day and the next it would not extend. Hear no clicking when I activate. I was hoping it might just be a fuse or maybe the switch itself. I read in one of the posts that there is a fuse on the wire going to the switch that controls the awning. I have to admit I am not familiar with these kinds of switches. Before I being yanking on things that might be in-line fuses, does anyone have a picture of what this should look like or other ideas as to what I might do to get the awning working again?

Sure appreciate this forum.

I wish I could help you man. I had to have my awning adjusted not long ago... also a 2016 30DS. Good Luck!

Merry Christmas too!

Don't understand the need for anyone to hold the awning strap. The awning will only unroll/roll with the motor.

Check at your coach batteries for the fuse. I have a Georgetown and the awning fuse is connected directly to one of the coach batteries. Your FR3 may be the same.
