Holding tank vent

Anybody use a swivel roof vent for their holding tanks? One is called Clclone, that supposedly prevents any gasses from entering the cabin. They're also a money saver because, again supposedly there's no need for tank chemicals. At least that is what's being said by a salesman.

Imho they only work when the toilet is open for a brief second.
99 percent of the time they just sit up there and rotate.

You have a closed waste system therefore it can and only will work when the toilet valve is open during flushing.

Pass.

Thanks. You saved me some $$$. That may explain why only the salesman has one!

You will still need chemical. Preferably the GEO method.

Got one for free and it still wasn't worth it....could not tell any difference from before it was installed...IMO save your money and buy some beer.

I got one real cheap, put it on and only notice a difference when we stop for breaks while traveling. Not worth $.
