Soft spots in floor
I have a 2012 ,233s and there are spots in the floor that are soft. My under belly is sealed and looking underneath there are no apparent signs of damage or cracking in the floor.. so I took it to the dealer and they advise it's the styro foam in the floor and it's not a problem. I'm not very comfortable with that looking for assistance.....Also noticed way to much rust on frame this unit is stored in doors all winter from oct through April help please

The bain of all trailers is humidity, indoor unvented storage is one problem.

DriZAir dehumidifier for sale at PPL - PPL Motor Homes A window and or a vent cracked should help.

As I see it you can take your dealers word for it OR get a second opinion.

Did you store it with water in the tanks?

it would help if you stated what area of the trailer this soft spot is at or post pics, which would help also.

I don't know about your trailer but we bought a 2000 Sandpiper from the original owner late last year. The beginning of this year we noticed a soft spot in the kitchen floor. Before we bought it we thought we checked everything. We couldn't see any water damage any where. The previous owners said they only used it on weekends and wasn't able to do so for the last three years. Everything looked brand new. A couple of months ago I stepped just right and the kitchen floor gave away. I almost went through it. Took flooring up no styrofoam under rotted wood. Wish you the best of luck. Ours was a nightmare.

roof leakage is a common problem. It leaks and the water gets trapped by the plastic underbelly membrane and the wood can't dry out. The wood frame and floor starts to rot long before you you realize you have a problem. Not only the wood get wet so does in insulation which hold th moisture against the wood. If you can smell a musty oder, You have rot.

We never had any kind of odor at all. You would think with it being pretty much right in your face when sleeping we'd have smelled something.
