Common Mistakes

This fellow has certainly made his share of mistakes. He probably could have saved himself from some of those mistakes if he would have read FRF first. ;) I guess that's the drawback to owning something built by THOR industries. :roflblack:

Maybe this video will help someone who is just getting into RVing.

That guy has a lot of balls admitting his Duhs on youtube. Personally I'd save those for campfire chat over cocktails and a good chuckle.

I hope this guy is way behind me on the highway :roflblack:

My dealer did the screws threw the slide floor when moving the dinning table during a slide out adjustment on my Lacrosse. Thank God I caught it on my inspection of there work.
(Past experience taught me well)
They also did the screw threw the slide floor on my Tracer when doing repairs to my bench seating. This tore up the plastic threshold, snagged the carpet and cut the wiper seal.

But then again I always try to inspect all there work closely now.

I'm not sure why he would want to use wheel chocks while hitched up.

I too, wanted to store my pizza stone in the oven, but I found a safe way to do it. I cut four 6" long pieces from a pool noodle, cut a slit down one side of each piece, and slip them onto the stone. Just one of the many RV uses I have found for pool noodles.

Sounds like that guy did a lot of damage to his new rig mistakes are part of life lessons

Mmm. Do not try to crack rear door on bunk house to watch till cleared...it will do door knob damage and door. Mmmm.

Seeing things in retrospect always much clearer then when we initially do them. We store our pizza stone in the original box and have no trouble.

This guy should be the Poster Child for what happens when you don't have and don't follow a checklist.

Am I missing something in his video or does he have a FW ( wheel chocks) and a Motorhome (lug nut) ?

People pulling their slides in with making sure their captain seat is out of the way. I have made a few dollars with people making that mistake. here is a pic of a recovered Flexsteel seat.
