We just bought a 2013 Georgtown 378XL. we used it for shorts trips this year and one long trip to Gatelinburg TN. I notice it then that there isa lot of swaying on the back end and when a smi truck pass us, We are thinking of installing a Blue OX Tiger Trax Sway bar in the back They say it will help for that. Has anybody install one on this size MH and does it work cost for them is about $700. alot of money if it does not work.

There are lots of threads here about ride and handling. Search for stabilizer or handling and read them.

Search "Cheap Handling Fix" and ensure that your tire pressures on the steer wheels are equal. The "Cheap Handling Fix" will do wonders. It is all I did and it's all I need. 5000 plus miles in the last 9 months thru mountains and on interstates and back roads. I'm Happy, Happy, Happy!

The first thing to do is a front end alignment!
Forest River should/might pay for it. Contact your dealer.
DO NOT wait till your front tires start to show abnormal wear.

Here are some links to "Cheap Handling Fix"
iRV2 has 134 pages about it.

We have 8 pages.

Like LostDog, us and lots of others this might be all you need.

Not sure why your Tiger Trak is that much. I paid $472 for mine shipped (TT2401). I did that and the cheap handling fix, but haven't taken it out on the road yet. We are headed to FL in a couple of weeks and expect to see a big difference.

The CHF is very easy to do. You just remove the two bolts at the end of the sway bar links and move them to the inner holes. You don't need a jack or anything.

I had the Tiger Trak installed last year and worth every penny!!

I'm with abjb and Lostdog. I did both, MAJOR difference in steering control and handling. The cheap fix is now recommended by Ford. Ask the front end guy to adjust your tow in a little bit in. That will help it steer easier and straighter.

Happy Trails, Forrest

Tiger Trak and front cheap handling fix made a huge difference for me.

Triger Trak on the rear axle, steer safe on the front, and front and rear cheap handling fix for me. Also FR paid for the alignment and it was all worth doing.

With proper tire pressure and alignment, mine has been handling ok. Only notice cross winds over about 25mph.
