Big bear & sequoia national park

Looking for some kick ass places to stay in both big bear and sequoia national park. After buying new trailer, decided to cancel 10 yr anniversary cruise and camp for two weeks instead. Need opinions of where is good place to park it.

Sequoia? Check out Nick's blog entry I need my space He's done quite a bit of hard-core camping in that area.
Big Bear? Dunno. Haven't been there since the mid 80s.

Say BigBaron

Saw in your signature that your location is in Incheon, S. Korea, you really there ?

I was stationed in Osan AirBase, from 1979 - 1980,

How is the Weather ? LOL I remember very hot humid summer and blistering cold winters.

Yup, I'm six minutes away from Incheon Intl. Airport.
A bunch of guys I met here were stationed at Osan. Black Cats and Intel guys.
It's a lot colder there than where we live, but it's -5 degrees C right now (23 F).
Summer heat here is about six weeks, but in Osan and Deagu... Don't ask.
I'm originally from Pt. Dume (Malibu), but we used to have a cabin in Arrowhead, so Big Bear was our winter stomping grounds.

We camped at Sequoia/King's Canyon National Parks last November (2012). RV campground in King's Canyon. No hook ups, as I remember - but very nice campground. Had a light snow the second evening we were there - just a couple of inches, so no problem. Beautiful area; big trees are (of course) fantastic.
Don't know anything about Big Bear.
Depending on your approach direction, we really enjoy Red Rock Canyon State Park (on 14 between 395 and 58) south of Sequoia NP. Again, no hook ups, beautiful campsites right against the rock formations; nice trails.
