Another Slide Question: Alignment

My 2008 SVT264 Surveyor slide opens fine but as soon as it leaves the closed position the top angles or tips slightly. Then as it approaches full open and comes against the seal it straightens and locks and is straight and properly level. I also notice when it's in the closed position as I look at it from the outside the bottom appears slightly tighter. The guy I bought it from told me this was normal operation and to my knowledge I have no leaks.
I looked under the sofa and can see there is a bracket in the center of the slide that would allow adjustment up or down. Should I adjust this slightly downward or leave well enough alone? Comments...

I'd leave it alone.

As long as you have compression on the edge gaskets in both positions (sounds like you do) I'd leave sleeping dogs lie!

So do you think it's working the way it should...I was once told the enemy of good is perfect. Maybe this applies in this case.... :)

I have a 2011 sv264 and my slide act the same way. Never had any leaks or trouble. I'd leave it alone imho

My SP220 slide does the same thing. Just be sure it is always all the way in or out and you will be fine.

Same here. As others have said, I'd leave it alone.
