Tongue weight

I was out walking the pup and I noticed this in a driveway, how would one maintain tongue weight, loaded it will be ok to heavy but unloaded it looks very light.

I think there are FR pop-ups and A-Frames that have the toy deck out front. I wonder if some of our members can chime in.

My bet is they're almost always towed with toys/gear up there.

Just the length from the axle to the hitch should be sufficient enough to give a pretty good tongue weight even mt.

that appears to be a Jayco Baja TH popup.

a number of manufacturers make popups with front decks.
FR makes popups, A-frames and hybrids with front decks.

and yes, hitch weight will vastly change when loaded.

I have a 228BH (Bike Hauler) that has a small deck on the front. From the factory the dry tongue weight is 350 (that includes only one empty tank per FR). I had some modifications done by the dealer; an extra propane tank, two deep cycle batteries and the powerlift. My tongue weight with both tanks full, and a 4 gallon gas cap on the deck is approx. 515 lbs.
