Jack for changing tire on TT ?
Does everyone carry a dedicated jack for changing flat tires on a TT? I am not sure the jack in my truck would be up to the task. Debating pros and cons of carrying another item in my storage bay but I can see where it would be a good idea and a small bottle jack would not take up too much space.

Two 16 ton bottle jacks, 4 peace's of 8"x8" blocks 12" long to place jacks on. Have had the experience of needing them for myself and also helping others alone side the road somewhere in the middle of no where.

Your truck jack will do the trick but a bottle jack is so much easier. A couple blocks of wood (2 x 4's) for the base of the jack helps too. I also carry a scissor jack & use it like a jack stand just in case that bottle jack slips.

I don't have one of these Trailer Aid Tandem Tire Changing Ramp: Automotive but a lot of people seem to have them. I will use my locking blocks to create something similar if needed.

I have 4 ton bottle jack and an aluminum low profile floor jack. Just in case.

2000 Cherokee 31BH, "flipped axles and raised",LEDs, solar, inverter, etc..aka "boondock ready". '07 Tundra 5.7L DC-LB, modded as well.

The jack in my F-250 is a bottle jack. It works just great for our TT and lifts it up plenty to change a tire (tested it in the driveway and once on the side of the road). I figure if it's enough to lift my old heavy diesel truck, it's good enough to do the TT.

I guess it's a bit less than a 6ton jack. 11,200lbs max.

I keep a 6 ton bottle jack and some blocks of wood in my tool crate in the box of the truck.
