Silverback 29RE Kitchen Fan model?

1 Attachment(s)
I don't have a manual for the fan that is above my kitchen sink in my Silverback 29RE.

The twisty handle thing can be pushed and pulled to put it in manual or automatic modes. Is there supposed to be a remote for this? The speed control knob is manual and has 3 speeds.

Do I have to climb up onto the counter to turn this on? Is it thermostatically controlled in the auto mode?

If you can point me to the make/model number I can probably find the manual online and answer all of these questions myself.

Thanks,
Pat

Look on your wall near the thermostat or light switch. Should be a control for it there showing temps and percentages. This is a "Fantastic" fan, Fantastic being the brand.

Mine is turned on by the thermostat above ac control.

The control doesn't cycle the as a thermostat. The sales person pointed it out to me. Never been a big deal. Not sure if my rain sensor works. Have a max air cover.

I moved the switch about 1/4" to 1/2" and it open and blow. Slide off and it closes. Did see a manual on it. Hope it helps.

Ours looks like the black vertical one on the right in this picture.

Heh, I have one of those!

Guess I'll head back outside and see how to make it work.

Thanks everyone.

OK, that was really cool. The upper black thermostat on the wall controls the opening of the vent and the turning on of the fan. I took the cover off of the thermostat (because I'm like that) and it's just a standard thermostat so I can set it to the temperature I want it to open and close at (give or take 10 degrees since the technology of the thermostat is from the 50's; :) )

Thanks everyone for your help.

Extremely useful to vent cooking exhaust. Pulls it up and away like nothing. I put Fan-tastic Ultrabreeze covers on both kitchen and bathroom.
Highest rated air flow covers out there.
I am non mechanical, over 70, and put both on in 30 minutes in 90 degree heat!
My biggest issue was FR put bolts thru the frame vs screws and I wrestled them out. Needless to say they use an install gun and are not real precise on alignment, to say the least!

when it opens you will hear a whirring noise. Sometimes it sticks and doesn't open and shuts off. Just turn the switch on and off a couple of times and it will open. I believe it is just the gasket sticking to the lid. Also I just climb onto one of the kitchen chairs to change the speed and clean the screen. It does help move air and keep the trailer cooler on those days that the air may not be the answer.
